Tour The Future:
Arizona State University’s Award-Winning Engineering and Aerospace Lab

Monday, November 6
1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Get an in-person look at the latest innovations, unique training simulators and aerospace engineering efforts during the Arizona UAS Summit & Expo’s aerospace and engineering-themed tour.

During this specialized tour designed specifically for the attendees of the Arizona UAS Summit, you will visit with the brightest and best researchers, faculty, students and experts at the award-winning Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at the Polytechnic School on the campus of Arizona State University.

Participating tour guests will gain access to four separate sessions and tour stops—each highlighting the work being done to train future pilots of manned and unmanned aircraft on earth and in space. And, at the additive manufacturing lab, guests will have the chance to see how cutting-edge materials are being implemented into automated processes, robotics and aerospace applications.

Tour Stops:
  1. Sit in the seat of an Air Traffic Controller
  2. Behind the scenes of a flight simulator operation and lab
  3. Learn about the Hyperloop, an ASU student-led project on the transport of the future and Space-X
  4. Find out which additive and advanced manufacturing methods are being used in automation, robotics and aerospace
Transportation to and from the Polytechnic facilities will be provided by the conference organizers.
